Not a good way to start the day

My husband woke up this morning to find a text message from his brother. 

They admitted my father in law to the hospital this morning.  Text message did not go into the whys or wherefores, but given how his health has been ever since the stroke/coma/near last year, it's likely more of the same. 

*sigh*

Thanks. I've put up a brief update with details, though there's much backstory that's missing. Feb 2006, my father in law had open heart surgery and then fell into a stroke-induced coma. He was in the coma for 10 days, during which time his neurologist pretty much told us she didn't expect him to recover.

But he did, and the last year and a half has been a rough road for us all.

He was a truck driver, but can't go back to driving truck for 5 years because of meds he's on. in the meantime, he and my mother in law have been supporting their daughter and her 4 children (long, painful, and stressfujl story that), and they've had no money. Steve and I supprted them up until I found out I was pregnant again, and then we had to stop giving them money.

It's not a good situation, and we're all worried.
