Book: Show us a book that has helped or inspired your writing.
Wherein we discover that many of the "rules" for good writing and good sex are the same: Keep your hand moving, lose control, and don't think. Goldberg brings a touch of both Zen and well... *eroticism* to her writing practice, the latter in exercises and anecdotes designed to ease you into your body, your whole spirit, while you create, the former in being where you are, working with what you have, and writing from the moment. -- Amazon.com Editorials.
I first read this book when my creative writing professor in college assigned it. We'd read passages and then be assigned a twenty-minute "free write" in which she either asked us to to elaborate on what Goldberg was saying or write something off the tops of our heads.
This book, in my opinion, in one of the best tools a would-be writer can use, because it provides rules, tips and encouragement ... all in Godlberg's casual, informal style. Other writing manuals often sound too formal or too technical, but Goldberg humanizes the writing experience, making something everyone can do.

The picture is General Hospital's Luke and Luara Spencer kissing on their wedding day.
Take a picture of a person who made your day today.

The person who made my day today is my daughter, Brenna. In this first picture, she's showing off how she can hang upside down on the bar on swing set. I took this so my Dad could see it.
The second picture is a view every parent can appreciate -- my little girl sleeping. She looked so peaceful and sweet, I couldn't help but take the picture.
